Lake Naivasha National Park

Lake Naivasha National Park is a sheer adventure, positioned outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru Country, in the northwest of Nairobi City. Lake Naivasha is one of the great rift valley lake found in Kenya standing at the highest elevation that rises 1,884 meters in the combination of volcanic rocks and sedimentary deposits that flows from a large Pleistocene Era Lake.

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli park Kenya is one of the premium national parks that is located in the Southern part of the country bordering Tanzania. The park is also close to the famous Mt Kilimanjaro which is the highest peak in Africa. The park is one of the close protected areas to the capital city Nairobi, It hosts the largest population of African Elephants in entire Kenya. The park is endorsed by a wide range of tourist attractions and this has made the park one of the most popular national parks not only in Kenya but entire Africa. Tour Plan

Day 1: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park

Pick up from your Nairobi Hotel and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch at your Lodge. Relax, refresh and head for an afternoon game drive around the shore lake. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx. 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild‟s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.

Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge

Accommodations: Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, Sarova woodlands, Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, Lake Nakuru Lodge, the cliff or similar.

Meals: Lunch and dinner

Set off early for a morning game drive to witness the animal kingdom at its most active hour, search for the park’s large populations of wildebeests, rhinoceros, buffalos, lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, cheetahs, zebras, impalas, gazelles, hartebeest, warthogs, ostriches, topi, and Maasai giraffes among others. Proceed to the famous Mara River where thousands of wildebeests and zebras cross from Serengeti to Maasai Mara each year. Enjoy packed lunch inside the park, by the banks of the river surrounded by beautiful sceneries and wildlife.

Early morning game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast. Depart for Lake Naivasha with a stop at the Narok which is the Masai city. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon spent at leisure with an option to take a boat ride with a visit to Crescent Island (extra cost). Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus is almost 13 km’s across, but its waters are shallow with an average depth of five meters. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lakes large hippo populations sleep the day out in the shallows.

Early breakfast at the hotel. Check out and drive north to Sweetwater’s Sanctuary. Arrive for lunch. In the afternoon proceed for a game drive. Sweetwater’s is located in typical savannah grasslands with „Whistling Thorn‟ and other acacia trees, overlooking a floodlit

waterhole and salt-lick, Sweetwater’s is truly an oasis. It offers guests some of the finest tented accommodation in Kenya, personalized service and attention, and abundant game viewing opportunities. 6 Sweetwater’s – Amboseli National Park

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Amboseli to arrive in time for lunch. Arid looking as Amboseli has historically supported both game and the Masai that kept their herds of cattle here. It is

thanks to the waters that run off Africa’s greatest mountain that the apparently dry Amboseli, Kenya’s first game sanctuary is able to support its wildlife. Mount Kilimanjaro broods high over Amboseli, generally cloaked by clouds but appearing in all its snow-shrouded magnificence from time to time. The mountain now provides water for the park, wonderful views and, of course, the most glorious background for animal photography. Enjoy an evening game drive in this scenic and wildlife rich park.
